"If you have a problem and you don’t do anything about it, don’t worry—it will get bigger.” ~Abraham Hicks. When I say that, people giggle. I do too.

But it wasn’t funny to me when I got into three serious car accidents in 6 months after a 20+ year spotless driving record.

All of the accidents were rear enders. The Universe was kicking my ass.

This year is coming in HOT for a lot of us. It’s like an electrical storm. If you are being tested, congratulations! You’re on the team. You’re being invited (maybe not gently) to gather your faith, and ask for MORE.

The Universe’s language isn’t written, and it isn’t logical. It’s felt. It’s experience. It’s gentle direction, then car wrecks if you don’t listen. Illness if you don’t listen. Feeling voiceless in toxic relationships if you don’t listen. Financial crippling if you don’t listen. Frustration.

We’re not meant to be guided by our fears, to shrink our expenses, to slow down the big dreamy project we came up with a week ago. We’re meant to lean into the clues and invitations with faith.

Faith means you believe when it looks like it isn’t going to happen.

Let’s get into a little etymology.

Faith is defined as belief with strong conviction; firm belief in something for which there may be no tangible proof; complete trust, confidence, reliance, or devotion. Faith is the opposite of doubt.

Britney Spears. Her song Gimme More was playing in my head last week. Since I’m not a huge Britney fan—I mean—#freedbritney, yay! But you know. I was like, oh, this is a song angel. Which it clearly was.

Gimme MORE.

Joseph Campbell teaches that the primal sound of the Universe is the ‘unstruck sound’— the sound behind the sound. When one really “listens” to this silent sound, this unstruck vibration, one comes inevitably to stillness, to pure and open existence. Our task, should we choose to accept it, is to yoke our conscious awareness to this unstruck sound. To link our dreams to the Universe’s rhythm.

Ooh, that’s big.

And, accessible. How? Put some Britney Spears on and change your rhythm, or go out in nature and feel that unstruck sound and then notice. What comes up?

YOUR TASKS!

This is our work, people! Not being stuck.

Being unstruck, and yoked up.

Ask for more.
