Two years ago pop star Shawn Mendes canceled his world tour just seven shows into a nearly 90-show run. Celebrity ‘too close to the sun’ stories make me curious. And with this one in particular, I felt his support team must have missed a few clues. The impact of canceling a tour that huge…I mean, whoa. 

Then there’s Taylor Swift, whose global impact is mind-blowing. She is an inspiring super talent and self-made billionaire. She is also a warm person who uses her celebrity for good. Taylor feels both approachable and as unbelievable as a supernova. She is her own woman… But I’d also posit that she has a fantastic support team.
